Welcome! It's lovely to have you here.

I am Lavinia Heilig - actress, singer and writer.

I completed my acting training at Cours Florent Paris and John Strasberg Studios New York.

Since I continuously keep training, I attended classes with Mel Churcher and a yearlong masterclass in Meisner Technique and camera acting.

In addition, I earned a master's degree in Modern Philology and work as a freelance writer in the fields of prose, screenplay and stage play.

Actress

As an actress and singer, I have worked on more than 50 film, theatre and musical theatre productions at a national and international level.

Contributing my part to a well told story and touching the audience with a truthful and authentic expression of my character’s worlds are the most satisfying elements of my work.

Writer

My working experience as a freelance writer includes all my academic writing, copywriting and content creation (online and print) as well as writing screenplays and stage plays.

Academic writing

After graduating from high school (advanced courses: Latin and German) and training as an actress, I completed my master's degree in theater, film and media studies and Romance studies with top marks.

My master's degree thesis broaches the 20th Century Joan of Arc movies, comparing their dramaturgy and production in relation to the specific political background of their time.

Setting the focus on Carl Theodor Dreyer’s movie The Passion of Joan of Arc (1928) and Luc Besson’s movie The Messenger (1999) since they represent chronological markers bordering the last century.

The work has been examined by Prof. Dr. Heide Schlüpmann and Prof. Dr. Hans-Thies Lehmann.
